RT-component Builder Project always builds project in Home/Workspace

I am using OpenHRP3 with OpenRTM-AIST and Eclipse 3.4.2.

  • I open the RT-Component Builder Project dialog box.
  • I un-check the "Use Default Location" checkbox.
  • I select a directory for the "Location:" box using the "Browse..." button.
  • I click "Finish".

The directory "Workspace" is created in the directory "Home". It is not created in the directory set in the "Location" box.

How can I change the directory for the project?

Thank you.

The "workspace" directory is Eclipse's workspace. You can change where it is created when Eclipse starts, or from the option in the File menu. It is possible to have multiple workspaces, which allows different groups of projects to be switched between.

When you create a new project, Eclipse defaults to creating it in the current workspace directory. This is the location that you are changing when you un-check "Use default location." Changing this will only change the location of the project being created, not the whole workspace.

Hello,

If you want to change the "Workspace", you have to specify the
workspace directory at the dialog box which appears when eclipse
is launched. The location you specified in the RTCBuilder's
project dialog box is a "Project Location".

A workspace can include some project. Usually project directory
is located under workspace directory. Disabling the "Use Default
Location" checkbox allows change the "Project Location" to
outside of the workspace. But the workspace is still located in
the directory specified in the dialog box which appears when
eclipse is launched. If you want to chang
