Gearbox library components

Wrappers for the Gearbox libraries.

Requirements

The components require OpenRTM-aist-1.0.0 or greater and Gearbox-9.11 or greater.

Getting the components

The components can be checked out from the Gearbox SVN repository at the project website. They reside in the openrtm/trunk directory, or in a directory under openrtm/tags if you need components for a specific Gearbox release. Check out the components with, for example:

 svn co https://gearbox.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/gearbox/openrtm/trunk gearbox-components

Documentation

Each component is extensively documented with Doxygen comments. Generate the documentation and refer to it for more details on ports, configuration settings, etc. The following sections provide an overview of each component.

flexiport

Low-level communications component.

Description

Flexiport provides low-level communications across serial connections, serial-over-USB connections, TCP connections and UDP connections via a unified interface.

Input ports

  • sendData

Output ports

  • recvData

Service ports

  • apiPort

Configuration options
