[openrtm-users 00935] Connection fails for SimpleIO

Hi,
I have recently installed OpenRTM-aist-1.0.0 on my ubuntu-9.04 machine. 
Configuring and making was successful (besides the tests, missing 
dependencies etc...).
However the SimpleIO example refuses to work.

The connection ret = pin[(CORBA::ULong)0]->connect(prof) in line 128 
seems to fail.

Furthermore rtc log file reports an error:
Sep 03 11:13:26 ERROR: in: no provider found

Has anybody of you an idea?
